Policy Index:

The City of Welland has a Policy Manual, implemented in 1994, which co-ordinates a collection of Council Policies for various City Departments that had been in use since the early 1970’s.  The objective of the Handbook is to formalize consistent guidelines for ongoing City operations covered by the policies to ensure all situations are handled in a standardized, in manner.  At present, there are 131 policies outlined in the Manual which are updated systematically as amendments are required.
